Something a little bit different this time. Still very similar!
This landscape composition was for a music video called “Sonic Sight”, with musical composition by Xavier Cookson-Edwards, and art by Daniel Ferst.
I think making this is what has got me interested in landscape compositing. The visuals in the video are all made in After Effects out of still drawings. Making the 2D image look 3D was a real challenge and making a moving 3D image was even more so but, with a virtual camera and a lot of patience, the video has come out amazing.
Of course the actual video was not to be as active as this but I figured this version was too good not to be made so here it is.
